Placeholders

A placeholder is a slot in your text that Eventnetic fills in when it sends. Every text field in an action has a Placeholders picker, grouped the same way as below.

Event

Event title · Event date · Start date · End date · Start time · End time · Address · Venue name · Venue phone · Event page link · Event status

Paid plans add Hall / seating plan.

Booking

Booking number · Booking status · Ticket list · Total · Paid · Due · Payment status · Refunded so far · This refund · Refund method · This payment · Method used for it · Note · Ticket table with download links · Ticket PDF files · Calendar file (.ics) link · Order code · Number of tickets · Payment method · Payment instructions · Booking page link · All codes on the booking · Online joining link · Online meeting password

Paid plans add: Coupon code · Coupon discount · Tax total · Booking custom answers · Attendee custom answers · All seats on the booking · Invoice number · Invoice download link · Invoice PDF file

Booking actions

Approve link · Set to pending link · Reject link · Cancel link

These are one-click links you can put in a message to yourself: approve a pending booking from your phone without opening the admin.

Customer

Full name · First name · Last name · Customer email · Customer phone

Attendee

First name · Last name · Email · Phone · Ticket code · QR code image · Ticket type

Paid plans add Seat and Seat section.

Waiting list

Paid. Name · Waiting list email · Waiting list phone · Places wanted · Claim link · Offer expires

Company and site

Company name · Company email · Company phone · Company address · Company logo URL · Site name · Site URL

The company values come from Settings → General settings → Company. Fill that in once and every template can sign itself properly.

What a trigger knows

A placeholder only works if the trigger carries it. Event starts fires once for the whole date and has no customer, so {customer_name} in it has nothing to fill in. Event starts — for each booking fires once per booking and does.

If a message comes out with a blank where a name should be, the trigger is almost always the reason.

Custom form fields

Paid. Every field on a custom form gets a placeholder of its own, so the answer to "Any dietary requirements?" can be put straight into the kitchen's email.
