About Eventnetic
Eventnetic is a new company, and this is our first plugin. It shares the name, which tells you roughly how new we are.
We build software for WordPress. That is the whole business.
The plugin sells tickets to events from your own site. Many dates on one event, seat maps, tax and invoices, and a checkout that stays on your domain, so the money and the customer list are yours.
What we mean by quality
Everybody says they care about it, so here is what it comes to in practice. All of it is checkable.
The free version has no ceiling. No event limit, no booking limit, no time limit. Most free tiers are shaped to run out around event three, which turns a product into a countdown. Ours does not have a counter in it. Card payments are the paid line, and we say so plainly rather than letting you discover it later.
You can try everything before you tell us anything. We keep eight businesses running as live demos: a cinema, a theatre, a yoga studio, a conference, a museum, a music venue, a walking tour and a craft workshop. Each has real dates, real prices and real bookings in it. You can walk a checkout end to end without an email address, an account or a sales call.
We write down what the plugin cannot do. Every post on our blog has a section about where the product is the wrong answer, and where a competitor does something better than we do. That is not modesty. Somebody who buys on a promise we cannot keep becomes a refund and a bad review, and we would rather lose the sale on Tuesday than the customer in March.
Support
One address, [email protected], and a person on the other end of it who works on the plugin.
We are small enough that a bug report reaches whoever wrote the code. That is worth more than a ticketing system with a queue, and it is an advantage we will try to keep for as long as the size of the company allows.
What comes next
More WordPress plugins. Ticketing is the first problem we picked, not the only one we intend to work on.
The ones after it will be built the same way. A free version that is genuinely usable. A demo you can open without asking anybody. Honest documentation about the edges.
We are not going to announce a roadmap of things that do not exist yet. When the next one is ready, it will be here.
Say hello
Questions before you buy, a bug, a feature you need, or a room shape we have not thought about: [email protected].
If you would rather look before you talk, the demos are open and the free plugin is a download away.
